Impact from Digital Transformation (full course)

'Impact from digital transformation' is an open online course by EIT Digital, which looks at the rapid evolution of technology and its impact on economy, the world, and social and daily life. The course is a good introduction for anyone interested to know more about digital technology and the digital revolution. It also touches upon emerging technologies - and how they have disrupted and transformed entire business processes and operations across industrial sectors.

Course details

The course also explores other topics linked to the digital transformation, such as increased connectivity, or the digitalisation of services and products. Learners will understand how the digital transformation itself began, how it has evolved, and where it is headed in the future. EIT Digital's MOOC is split in 4 modules and takes a total of 7 hours to complete. It targets people and especially business and SME employees with little or no technological understanding. 

Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course, learners will be able to explain what the digital transformation is, and how the digitalisation of services and products has evolved to become embedded in virtually all industrial and economic sectors. They will be able to define drivers of the digital transformation and explain essential concepts related to technology's impact on the world of work - and social and daily life.
