Introduction to digital technologies supporting construction and renovation

Designed to support both aspiring and established entrepreneurs, the course offers a selection of modules to enhance essential skills in business, creativity, and innovation. The course was developed as part of the Erasmus+ funded FEMALE ENTREPRENEUR PROJECT (2020-2023), which supports all women who are struggling to find new ways to reconcile their professional and personal life to be able to start their own professional careers and set up their businesses within the Creative and Cultural Industries sectors.

Course modules

The course offers 7 modules:

1. Women entrepreneurs in cultural and creative sectors
2. Being a leader
3. Creating a strategic action plan
4. Challenges and opportunities – SWOT analysis
5. Marketing and communication
6. Financial analysis
7. How to face unexpected situations

All modules end with a final test in the form of a quiz, available for free online.

Learning outcomes 

By participating in these modules, participants will:

• Gain a deeper understanding of the Cultural and Creative Sector in Europe, and the role of women entrepreneurs in this sector
• Learn about the skills needed to be a great leader and how to improve creative thinking skills
• Learn how to develop a strategic, successful and creative action plan
• Be able to evaluate business opportunities and what elements to consider before starting a new project
• Know what strategies to use to market their business and define the 4Ps of Marketing
• Learn about how to manage a budget and potential funding opportunities available at EU level
• Learn different approaches to managing crises and unexpected situations
