KIOKU: Gamified Scenario-based Cybersecurity Training (NeRO)

KIOKU offers scenario-based training on different cybersecurity topics. By combining behavioural learning principles with AI-supported scenario design, KIOKU helps organisations strengthen cyber awareness and decision-making skills across their workforce. The Gamified Scenario-based Cybersecurity Training is developed within the framework of the Digital Europe Programme-funded NERO project, an advanced Cybersecurity Ecosystem designed to address the distinct aspects of awareness, training, and education in cybersecurity.

About this training

KIOKU provides scenarios on three difficulties as well as for three learner types: 

• IT Personnel 
• non-IT Personnel 
• managers and high-level executives.

The platform enables tailored training, tracks learner performance through analytics dashboards, and supports a practical, hands-on approach to building cybersecurity resilience in workplaces, education, and public sector environments.

Learning outcomes

Learners step through a number of realistic cyber security scenarios from the perspective of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the healthcare, finance and logistics sectors, receiving immediate feedback for their decisions.
