The Master in International Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence (MICAC) is a two-year joint master’s degree delivered within the Arqus European University Alliance, coordinated by the University of Granada. 

This degree is developed within the context of the Cyberactioning project, which aims to support the development of high-quality learning opportunities and practical training pathways that respond to current and emerging cybersecurity needs across Europe, supported by the DIGITAL Europe Programme of the European Union

About this course 

The programme is designed to provide advanced, interdisciplinary training in cybersecurity and cyberintelligence, combining technical, strategic, and analytical perspectives to address current and emerging digital threats.

MICAC follows a mandatory mobility structure, allowing students to study across four European countries:

  • 1st semester – University of Padua (Italy)
  • 2nd semester – Vilnius University (Lithuania)
  • 3rd semester – University of Granada (Spain)
  • 4th semester – Internship or Master’s Thesis (coordinated by University of Minho, Portugal)

Prerequisites

The programme is fully taught in English and is aimed at students with a background in Information Technology or related fields, or those who can demonstrate equivalent technological competence through professional experience and formal training.

MICAC is supported in its initial cohorts by the European project Cyberactioning (Digital Europe Programme), which contributes to strengthening advanced cybersecurity skills in Europe.
