Mobile Application Architecture & Cross-Platform Security (Cyber Pro Train)

Start Date
26.May.2026
End date
28.May.2026

This training module introduces participants to modern mobile application architecture and cross-platform development security principles. Learners will explore layered mobile architectures, mobile frameworks, state management, and security considerations in Android, iOS, and cross-platform applications.

The training module is developed within the context of the Cyber Pro Train project, funded under the Digital Europe Programme of the European Union. Cyber Pro Train addresses the critical cybersecurity skills shortage in the European Union by developing an innovative, scalable education and training model tailored for professionals in SMEs and public administrations.

About this course

This training module aims to provide participants with a practical understanding of mobile application architecture and the cybersecurity challenges associated with modern mobile development. Participants will explore the structure of mobile applications, including UI layers, business logic, data handling, and communication with backend services.

The course introduces concepts such as layered architecture, separation of concerns, local and global state management, and cross-platform frameworks including Flutter and React Native. Participants will also examine mobile security principles related to client-side trust, secure coding practices, data protection, and secure communication between mobile applications and APIs.

Target audience

The training is designed for professionals, including SME employees, ICT practitioners, junior developers, students, cybersecurity learners, and Public Administration staff interested in strengthening their understanding of secure mobile application development.
