Objectives

  • Discover the basic principles of network security
  • Understand and analyze main threats to network security
  • Implement firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS)
  • Configure VPNs for secure communications
  • Apply cryptographic techniques to protect data in transit and at rest
  • Manage and monitor network security using traffic analysis and log monitoring tools
  • Create security policies and procedures to respond to incidents
