Phishing countermeasures

This training equips participants with the skills to identify, prevent and mitigate phishing attacks. Designed for students, teachers, corporate employees and IT professionals, the course covers evolving phishing tactics and effective countermeasures. Participants will explore detection methods such as machine learning-based anomaly detection, email filtering techniques and user awareness programs. They will also learn preventive measures like domain spoofing prevention, multi-factor authentication and network segmentation to reduce attack risks.

The course is part of the Cyrus project funded under the DIGITAL Europe Programme of the European Union which aims to propose a novel training programme to develop a cybersecurity innovation DNA and support companies in transport and manufacturing to respond to and mitigate cyber threats and attack.

About this course

Additionally, the training provides strategies for mitigating successful phishing attacks, including system isolation, malware eradication and post-attack analysis.
