Objective

The aim of this microdegree program in Programming is to provide basic knowledge of programming using Python and Java programming languages; knowledge of code testing, debugging and refactoring using an integrated programming environment; and basic knowledge of the use of key data structures.

Target group

Students with basic knowledge of programming. 

Admission conditions

At least acquired secondary education. In order to be admitted to the curriculum, it is necessary to pass a test of basic programming knowledge.

Learning outcomes

A graduate of this microdegree program can:

  • Use the basic constructions of Python and Java
  • Debug, test, and react code using an integrated programming environment
  • Use the main principles and data structures of object-oriented programming
  • Write clean documented code that meets requirements
  • Solve a more complex task consisting of several parts
