Summer School 2025: Sustainability management and reporting Created byBenedetta Pipino|UpdatedagoStart Date16.June.2025End date20.Jun.2025BlendedThe main aim of this program “Sustainability management and reporting” is to provide participants with a universal and comprehensive knowledge of sustainability management and reporting, encompassing various disciplines, country experiences and perspectives. Why sustainability management and reporting mattersIn light of the growing importance of sustainability on a global scale and across various levels of society, acquiring knowledge about sustainability management and reporting is essential. The first aim of this summer school is to offer participants the opportunity to gain this knowledge. Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues are becoming more integrated into various business operations. Sustainable actions are not only mandated and encouraged at the European level by International and European policies on sustainable development and the European Commission's Green Deal but are also increasingly demanded by individuals, who seek responsible actions from companies. Given this trend, addressing ESG issues has become critical to meeting societal expectations and adapting to evolving market requirements. Companies are now obligated, by law in some cases, to produce their Non-Financial Reports in addition to their financial statements, while others choose to do so voluntarily. A secondary aim of the summer school is to empower participants to make comparisons and broaden their understanding of the implications of managing and reporting ESGs. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between traditional teachings of management and accounting and the increasing demand for the integration of sustainability by companies and organizations worldwide.Discover the programTwo main aspects of sustainability will be analyzed.First, as part of module A - “Digital tools for social innovation and entrepreneurship” participants are provided with a universal and comprehensive knowledge of sustainability management and reporting, encompassing various disciplines, country experiences and perspectives.
