This can be seen in game design, the personalisation of media content, or smartphone apps using sensors to model how environments are perceived. This degree aims to provide students with a deep understanding of the underlying digital media technologies and related business aspects.CurriculumThis Technical University of Denmark (DTU) programme allows students to choose a focus area to specialise in. The specialisation options are:AI and CognitionMachine Learning at ScaleSocial Media, Mobile Apps and Data ScienceUser Experience / Mobile Health / Personal InformaticsComputer Vision and Computer GraphicsComputer GamesDTU encourages students to work on their own projects and take part in ongoing DTU research projects over the course of this degree. Alongside this, students are encouraged to take part in DTU's entrepreneurial activities to transform projects into start-ups.To obtain the degree, the student must fulfil the following requirements:Have passed Polytechnical foundation courses adding up to at least 10 ECTSHave passed Programme-specific courses adding up to at least 50 ECTSHave performed a Master Thesis of 30 ECTS points within the field of the general programHave passed a sufficient number of Elective courses to bring the total number of ECTS of the entire study to 120 ECTSTechnological specialisation courses will differ based on the student's selection. Alongside these courses, students must complete a Master Thesis.RequirementsFor applicants who have received a Bachelor's degree in Denmark it is required to hold a degree in cyber technology, AI and data, software technology, electrical engineering or mathematics and technology. Applicants may be required to take extra courses to bolster their knowledge prior to starting the MSc in Human-Centred Artificial Intelligence programme.For international applicants who have a Bachelor's degree from outside Denmark it is required to hold a Bachelor of Science in a relevant area.
