Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH)

Blekinge Institute of Technology (Blekinge Tekniska Högskola in Swedish) is a public, state-funded Swedish institute of technology, with 11 departments and 2 campuses in Karlskrona and Karlshamn. Founded in 1999, the university focuses on information and communication technologies (ICTs), engineering, and sustainable development. It offers 30 programmes, amongst which also health sciences, industrial economics, and business. The university offers programmes in Swedish and English. Today, 5,900 students are enrolled in the university, which also employs close to 300 members of staff.
