World Wide Web Foundation

The World Wide Web Foundation was established in 2009 by web inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee and Rosemary Leith to advance the open web as a public good and a basic right.
It is an independent, international organisation promoting digital equality. The foundation's team consists of 30 employees. The organisation operates in 70 countries and has 160 partner organisations. Its hubs are based in Washington DC, Jakarta and London.
