Alkotó Magyarország (Creative Hungary) is an organisation devoted to empowering teachers and students to gain future-ready skills. Our partner company, Maker's Red Box has developed a hands-on STEAM education methodology based on constructivist pedagogy and created complex teaching materials to achieve this goal. Alkotó Magyaroszág is an NGO organising teacher trainings to enable educators to use modern edtech tools to achieve real pedagogical outcomes. The NGO is organising workshops, summer camps and afterschool activities for 11-18 old students to help develop their soft and hard skills and discover their potential. Maker's Red Box teaching materials, developed by a Hungarian team of experts, have proven to be great vehicles for these purposes. They engage children by using storytelling and role-play and inspire them to find solutions to real-world problems by turning their ideas into working prototypes using 3D printers, laser cutters, microelectronics and soldering stations.
