The Association of Innovative and Digital Education (hereinafter - the Association) is a public non-profit organization, was officially registered in May, 2016 in Ukraine. But before it worked as a public initiative, experienced in the successful implementation of various educational projects since mid-2012, as partners, as well as a lobbyist and driver of e-learning and distance learning, knowledge economy, life long learning, social mobility.
The mission of our organization, which is shared by all members of our team - is the intellectual transformation of the country, building a civil society based on knowledge, solving the problems of the State and Society by educational tools.
The establishment of the Association as a public initiative coincided with the "universalists" and civic sentiments of Ukrainians, who after the Revolution of Dignity in 2014 changed their views on self-development, education, the necessary competencies required to be successful and happy. It became the driving force and the main directions of the Association's work.Since then, we have created many different unique and effective projects. Mostly, we create online platforms (we have more than 30 national platforms in our portfolio) and online courses (more than 500 online courses have been created). And also thanks to our own PR-team we conduct active information campaigns and do big events and researches.
The Association of Innovative and Digital Education has an impeccable reputation, a high level of trust from state and local authorities, as well as from international partners and organizations, and most importantly - a high level of trust among Ukrainians for whom we create our free online educational projects and courses.
The Association has more than 100 experts in the field of e-learning, e-distance courses, online educational platforms, e-democracy and other topics who are highly qualified specialists, 12 of whom have PhD.
Our projects have may awards and national records: The LINGVA.SKILLS project received the "Favorite of the Country" award, was included in the TOP-100 social projects of Ukraine and was also included in the TOP-10 social startups in Europe according to the EBRD (2019). In 2021 it was recognized by Ukrainian Book of Record as the most massive online platform of Ukraine. The project “Educational Hub of Kyiv” received the Brand of the Year award in 2019 and several National records certificates.

Methodology team - 97 people (Methodologists of educational courses, trainers, methodologists-philologists of language projects (English, German, Ukrainian), psychologists).
R&D team - 9 people (Testologist, sociologists, IoT specialist, career counselor, SCORM specialists).
PR team - 12 people (Communications specialist, PR specialist, designers, marketer, digital marketers, SMM specialist, video operator, director, copywriter).IT team - 14 people (Project manager, web designer, SEO specialist, UI/UX specialist, programmers, testers).
Other (Support) - 12 people (Courier, interns, volunteers, content editors, testers).
The key results achieved by our Association in 2022 include:
1) Creating the Network of Ukrainian Education Hubs in Ukraine and abroad in 2022. https://eduhub.org.ua. The mission is to help in quick adaptation and integration of Ukrainian IDPs and and Ukrainian refugees who moved to Western Ukraine or moved in Europe. We teach children and adults languages, soft skills, IT-specialties, give them psychosocial support and career guidance, help in employment. For children and adolescents it is also available catch-up learning and Upshift. Currently, the network of hubs includes 17 educational hubs in Ukraine (Kyiv, 10 western regions of Ukraine) and 8 educational hubs abroad. This is official project supported by Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
On the base of Ukrainian Education Hubs (DLC) we did a lot of projects supported by UNICEF, UNFPA, UNHCR, CEI, International Visegrad Fund, DVV International, Carpathian Fund, Terres des Hommes, Biblio sans Fronties, Goethe-Institute Ukraine etc. The total amount of events more than 1000, we covered more than 30,000 of Ukrainians by our services.
With the support of UNICEF Poland, together with Pro Futuro Foundation we have been implementing a large project for Ukrainian schoolchildren and adults since October 2022. Within the project we teach children catch-up on distance learning platforms, give them Upshift training programs for Career Management, Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurial Skills, Cybersecurity, Soft Skills. Besides we teach Ukrainian teachers polish language and soft skills. More than 3000 children and 300 educators have been participated in the project (it is going on up to June 2023).
As a separate project we would like to mention the project "Smile - Support for children, youth and their families during the crisis in Ukraine" for shelters in the Khmelnytskyi region supported by Terre des hommes. The purpose of the program was to improve living conditions for IDPs and create comfortable living conditions. During the project implementation 12 ICFs were upgraded in Khmelnytskyi region.
2) The next big direction of our organization is psychosocial support:
- "Providing psychosocial and emotional support to the population and improving the quality of mental health services in the community" with the support of the USAID HOVERLA Project. It included 4 online courses for educational staff, social workers, civil servants, and all community residents.
- Ecosystem of Psychological Assistance in Education, covering all participants in the educational process: educators, school psychologists, students, and their parents/guardians. At the end of 2022, this project was launched as part of the National Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Program at the initiative of First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska [https://www.mentalhelp.in.ua]. The project is supported by People in Need and implemented with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine. The project was created in cooperation with leading psychologists from Israel, the USA, the UK, and EU countries.
- platform #MyWar [https://mywar.mkip.gov.ua] was created with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, at the expense of the Association. It is a diary of Ukrainians who survived the war. It has 3.5 thousand stories and over 16 million views.
3) The next big direction of our organization is career guidance:
- National Platform for Employment and Career Development https://hryoutest.in.ua. The first national career guidance project in Ukraine for school children, implemented jointly with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine since 2021. The platform contains a unique career guidance test based on artificial intelligence (own development), a career guidance counseling system, online courses, and advanced training courses. Since 2022, results of the test can be mentioned in official school certificates. About 300,000 Ukrainians have already used it.
- launching the National Personnel Reserve platform https://ukrnkr.in.ua. It includes approved testing system “Interactive Resume” https://interactive-resume.in.ua and the platform “How to start own business” www.iambiz.in.ua. A project developed to determine professional abilities, qualifications, and entrepreneurial inclinations using artificial intelligence. It was supported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the State Employment Service of Ukraine.
4) It is worth to mention that after successful beta-testing period Platform for training of the Verkhovna Rada https://e-learning.rada.gov.ua/ in 2022 was successfully given to its servers. These following projects have also been developed by us with the support of UNDP:- Multifunctional Platform for training the Verkhovna Rada personnel.- Development of 17 multimedia online courses for the platform.- Testing and teaching English language among officials of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
