Batı Akdeniz Kalkınma Ajansı (BAKA)

BAKA (West Mediterranean Development Agency) is a regional public authority in TR61 Region (Antalya, Burdur and Isparta) of Türkiye. BAKA's 27
specialists develop regional plans, strategies on focus areas and projects with stakeholders. Besides, BAKA implements grant programmes for SME's, NGO's and public sector 13 of these specialists monitor and evaluate the investment projects and conduct investment support and employment facilities in provinces. In 2017 BAKA managed a 330 000 budget EU project on Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic Certification Training on Promoting Youth Employment in Sectoral Investment Areas Programme BAKA has strong relations with stakeholders in Antalya, Burdur and Isparta provinces in Türkiye. These include interfaces supporting entrepreneurs like innovation hubs, incubators, technoparks NGO's and public authorities.
