CESAE Digital was born in July 2020, as a result of the transformation of the then designated CESAE - Centre for Services and Support to Companies, promoted by the Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and by agreement between the IEFP (Institute of Employment and Vocational Training) and AEP (Business Association of Portugal), thus continuing a worthy and qualifying task of about 35 years at the service of innovation and knowledge.
This transformation of the previous CESAE, occurs by approval of the Protocol that creates the CESAE Digital - Centre for the Development of Digital Skills, signed between the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP, IP) and the Business Association of Portugal (AEP).
In this way, the new CESAE Digital becomes a Protocol Centre or Vocational Training Centre of Participated Management, being an organism endowed with legal personality of public law without profit, and with the following goals: respond to the training needs namely in the areas of digital economy and professional (re)qualification of employed and unemployed assets; to boost the development of digital skills, as an instrument to promote the employability of active people; promote the design of and participation in qualifying training courses for young unemployed people, in order to improve their employability.
