Also, CMU had developing and implemented the Cyber Security and Risk management master’s degree from 2019 and the Cyber Security bachelor’s degree from 2023 (in Romanian language).The CMU develop in 2018, the Maritime Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence. This center is a leading provider of cybersecurity services and solutions for the maritime industry. Our mission is to enhance the cybersecurity resilience of the maritime sector through innovative research, expert advice, training, and education. We provide a wide range of cybersecurity services to public and private organisations in the maritime industry, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, incident response, and compliance assessments.In addition, the Maritime Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence is full member of European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) from 2023.Maritime Cyber Security Center of Excellence works with National Cybersecurity Directorate, Romanian government agencies, and private companies to identify and close skill gaps.The Maritime Cyber Security Center of Excellence team has expertise in various aspects of information security - cryptology, secure architectures, secure software development, threat modelling and others.Our Center of Excellence has real-world experience in various technologies and complex IT systems security, including, but not limited to: Endpoint security, Server security, Industrial Security, Application Security, Cryptography and many others.
