We are a Community Foundation (established in 2019) and we operate in the two Sicilian provinces of Agrigento and Trapani to promote the social, economic, cultural and environmental development of local communities.
We work in three areas of intervention:- promotion of community welfare in education and assistance (with a particular focus on combating educational poverty and early school leaving)- support for socially responsible youth enterprises- enhancement of the cultural and environmental heritage.
Among our educational activities aimed at children and teenagers, particular attention is given to STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics) and Digital Skills: we implement educational paths in which technologies are aimed at pragmatic applications, sustainable and consistent with the community and the needs of the local labor market. This means having an approach to creative digital education that see technologies as tools.
