I.I.S. “Maria Montessori - L. da Vinci” is a Secondary School Centre with seven areas of study such as: Linguistic High School, Scientific High School, Humanities High School, Social Economical High School, Technical Secondary School for Mechanics, Technical Secondary School for Computer science, Professional Secondary School (tourist welcoming and reception; cooking and service).
The organisation is located in Alto Reno Terme in the Apennines (60 km from Bologna), in the village of Porretta Terme, whose name comes from the presence of ancient and excellent thermal waters.
The school provides a five-year training cycle, with classes from Monday to Saturday, 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. The organisation also offers free afternoon courses in theatre, chess, sports, foreign languages, Italian L2, alignment for scientific universities and many training and orientation projects.
