The main goal is to become a net zero emissions company by 2050, in line with the targets set out in the Paris Agreement. In order to reach this goal, our company has set itself a demanding roadmap, which includes ambitious emissions reduction targets that were initially established in our 2021-2025 Strategic Plan and updated on Repsol ESG Day.*
Digitization and technology play a fundamental role in meeting our goal of being net-zero emissions company by 2050. We rely on digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotic process automation (RPA), cloud solutions, advanced data analytics, and more. In addition, we have our own research center, the Repsol Technology Lab, where more than 250 experts work on the development of new technological solutions for the energy industry's entire value chain.
