Technical University of Darmstadt

The Technical University of Darmstadt is a public research university in the city of Darmstadt, Germany. Founded in 1877, in 1882 it became the first university in the world to set up a chair in electrical engineering. Today, the university is home to over 20,000 students and employs over 3,000 members of staff. The university has strong expertise in key technologies, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI), hosting DFKI - the German Research Centre for AI.
