ICO-Red.es Accelerates - funding for technological development in Spain Created byIeva Spudyte|Updated27 July 2024Red.es, a public business entity attached to the Spanish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation has signed an agreement with the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (Offical Credit Institute) to launch the "ICO-Red.es Accelerates" programme.The main objective of the initiative is to foster digitalisation through the promotion and financing of technological projects. A few examples of projects that could eligible for the programme:Experimental development projects (creation of prototypes, development of pilot projects, testing and validation of products in technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), 5G technologies, big data and information processing technologies, blockchain, robotics, digital content, etc.)Projects that promote the development, promotion and adoption of digital technologies.The beneficiaries of this program will be able to obtain access to loans.
