The finalists of the Digital Skills Awards Spain 2025 are here!
AMETIC and the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition Spain announce the finalist projects of the Digital Skills Awards Spain 2025, a contest that recognizes the best initiatives in digital training and skills in Spain.
The Digital Skills Awards Spain (DSAS) aim to identify and recognize the most innovative experiences in the development of digital talent in key areas: education, inclusion, vocational training, the promotion of women and girls, as well as the training of new ICT professionals. Awards that seek to reduce the digital divide and prepare society for the challenges of digital transformation.
In this edition, 67 proposals of the highest quality have been received, which has made the selection of finalists a particularly demanding process for the jury.
A reference jury
The evaluation committee is composed of referents from the educational, business and social fields, such as Esther Monterrubio (General Secretary of Vocational Training), Jesús Hernández Galán (ONCE Foundation), Sara Gómez (Real Academia de Ingeniería), Juan Carlos Pérez Espinosa (DCH), Guillermo Pérez (ATENTO), Marisa Estevez (BT), Mar Camacho (Universitat Rovira i Virgili), Juan Carlos Tejada (CEOE), Mariola García Arellano (AMETIC / Bejob) and Beatriz García-Quismondo (AMETIC).

PLEITIC: our methodological model for integrating digital technology into the classroom. Centre Educatiu El Casal
It consists of a methodological model to integrate technology in the classroom as a key tool in the educational and learning process, in all educational stages of the center. In the project the curricular contents are worked through educational applications, interdisciplinary projects, collaborative tasks and continuous evaluation processes. The use is guided by the teachers, who receive specific training to ensure a solid and coherent pedagogical approach. A clear and sustained pedagogical vision is applied over time.
The project has had a profound and transformative impact on the educational dynamics of the center. Its implementation has meant greater autonomy and responsibility, more motivating and active learning and the development of key competences.
Learning and Service: Media Literacy at ESO from University to Institute. Carlos III University of Madrid
The project is based on a methodology based on service-learning, in which students of the degree of journalism and the double degree go to public secondary schools in Getafe and Leganés to teach students of first, second, third or fourth of secondary level basic aspects of media education, helping to detect and identify disinformation and critically consume the different media content circulating on the Internet.
Service-learning is an educational proposal that unites social commitment with the learning of knowledge, skills, attitudes and values. There is an improvement in the critical competence of high school students compared to digital and audiovisual media, increasing their ability to identify fake news and practice responsible and selective consumption.
IBM SkillsBuild. IBM
This initiative offers free education in digital and technological skills.In Spain, it has established itself as a key tool to close the digital divide with programs aimed at young people, women and groups at risk of exclusion. The proposal combines technical training and employment skills, with mentoring from IBM volunteer professionals and guided learning experiences that bring participants closer to the actual use of technologies such as Python, data analytics, AI, cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
The project improves the real transformation of the professional opportunities of the participants, with an increase in employability in technological sectors and the closing of the digital divide in vulnerable groups.
Basic digital skills for citizens. Red.es
The aim of the programme is to foster citizens' digital skills to prevent anyone from being left behind in the digital transformation.
The program is aimed at achieving the digital literacy of the groups accompanying them in their digitalization process through the development of basic digital skills, adapted to different areas relevant to their personal, social and work life such as the use of social networks, electronic banking, administrative procedures, safe trade, employment platforms, responsible use of technology, etc., facilitating their digital integration.

#SheTechs Scholarships. Michael Page
The project promotes employability in the technology sector through scholarships for intensive courses, facilitating the acquisition of key digital skills that allow them to access highly demanded positions. The initiative offers scholarships, training, mentoring and accompaniment.
The initiative includes scholarships for training in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence bootcamps and Web Development or Data Analysis courses.
It seeks to generate a significant qualitative impact in the technological sector, attracting female talent and promoting the integration of skills from other sectors that contribute to innovation and the streamlining of technological processes.
HPE CDS Tech Challenge. Hewlett Packard Enterprise
Competition oriented to the world of development and new technologies, focuses on the development of innovative solutions based on artificial intelligence and advanced data analysis to address real problems with social, economic and environmental impact.
Students have the mission of completing different phases with the aim of solving numerous challenges using emerging technologies to improve our planet.
In its last edition, its participants have been invited to address real problems, from the revitalization of rural areas to the optimization of resources in large companies, using advanced data analysis and AI to improve decision-making, sustainability and competitiveness.
The project allows to show the potential of technological development, with advanced solutions in both hardware and software based on the latest technologies.
Samsung Innovation Campus Samsung Electronics Iberia
It aims to improve the employability of young people through free training in key digital skills such as programming, Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Big Data.
The project actively contributes to reducing the talent gap in the ICT sector, providing students with the technical and transversal skills necessary to lead the digital transformation in Spain.
This program is developed in collaboration with prestigious universities such as the University of Malaga, the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and the Polytechnic University of Madrid, as well as entities such as the School of Industrial Organization (EOI) and the ONCE Foundation.
Generation D: Building the AI generation. Red.es
It aims to promote the application of AI and digital transformation to science and research, and to develop, attract and retain talent in the scientific-technological field in our country.
To this end, it promotes the hiring of technical, predoctoral and postdoctoral staff for 4 years in four state agencies selected by invitation (CSIC, BSC, CNIO and CNIC), including an associated training plan focused on the development of skills in digital tools and Artificial Intelligence applied to research in areas such as biomedicine, genomics, pharmacology, agriculture, astronomy, oceanography, nanoscience, robotics, cardiovascular or education, among others.
This boost boosts the number of professionals with high research capabilities in critical technological areas such as AI, microelectronics or cybersecurity, applied in very diverse sectors, which strengthens the country's capacity to innovate, generate knowledge and face global challenges.

Methodological innovation and digital transformation project "Es de cine". IES Ramón Giraldo
"Es de cine" is an educational project that promotes cooperative digital learning through voluntary audiovisual activities for students and training for teachers. It transmits educational values. It boosts talent, favoring inclusion and co-education. Optimizes the resources of the center and the network (REA). It is innovative, effective, sustainable and replicable. And it contributes to teacher training by offering a course on the methodology used, chrome recording and digital editing.
The digital learning obtained, according to the students themselves, contributes to the improvement of their digital competence.
TELECO GAMES National Telecommunications Olympics. COITT
This initiative organizes the National Telecommunications Olympiad aimed at students of ESO, Baccalaureate and Training Cycles of Middle and Higher Degree, with the aim of awakening scientific and technological vocations. Through challenges linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030), the teams design projects based on telecommunications, incorporating cybersecurity measures in their prototypes and processes as a novelty.
The initiative combines practical learning, innovation, teamwork and communication, in collaboration with universities throughout the country, the promotion of the COITT, the AEGITT and the support of entities such as INCIBE, Teleco Games promotes STEM competences, creativity, soft skills and ethical values in the use of technology, reaching thousands of students nationwide.
NebrijAI: Digital Skills for the University of the Future. Nebrija University
The main objective of the plan is the adaptation of the digital literacy process to the new algorithmic ecosystem based on Large Language Models (LLMs) posed by AI. This approach is articulated from a perspective that allows the integration of various research and action methodologies, and that gives centrality to the Relational Factor as an essential element of pedagogical innovation.
Project Haz – Courses on Artificial Intelligence in Audiovisual. RTVE
The initiative seeks to equip participants with technical skills directly applicable to the professional world; encourage creativity and critical thinking; boosting advanced digital literacy; and promote the ethical and responsible use of AI. Its methodology combines autonomous study with audiovisual learning resources of television quality, downloadable and interactive materials.
The platform facilitates progress tracking, provides constant feedback and promotes active participation, driving both individual learning and collaborative work. All this is complemented by the accompaniment of a team of expert teachers and tutors who guide and support the participants throughout the training process.

Digital Talent for All. VASS FOUNDATION
This program combines free and accessible training, individual accompaniment and connection with companies, with the aim of creating an inclusive ecosystem of digital employability that takes advantage of digitalization as a lever of equality, autonomy and opportunities for people with disabilities. Its objectives are to improve the employability of people with disabilities, and to promote access to high-demand digital professions.
The methodology combines flexible training itineraries, from basic to advanced level, with modules in AI, digital accessibility, cybersecurity, contact centers, WordPress or web development. To reach anyone, anywhere, the Accessible Virtual Campus was created, a pioneering environment based on universal accessibility.
Femcoders_F5 Factory F5
It aims to carry out intensive training in Full Stack Web Development, Cloud or Artificial Intelligence aimed at women in vulnerable situations in Spain, as well as code initiation workshops for girls and young people. Through this program, women without previous knowledge, diploma or experience in the technological sector acquire the technological and communication skills necessary to become professionals in the technological sector in 6 months.
The project empowers women in vulnerable situations by providing them with technical and transversal skills. They gain greater self-confidence, overcoming personal challenges and the ability to take control of their careers and lives.
By Essential Digital Talent. ONCE Foundation
It arises in response to the need to ensure equal access to basic digital skills, essential for full participation in today's society. Through face-to-face, practical and personalized training, the program promotes the autonomy, employability and social inclusion of people with disabilities, a group historically excluded from the digital environment. The programme offers 12 practical courses. Each course includes 8 hours of face-to-face training and 4 hours of personalized tutoring. They are taught in two days. There are more than 2,000 courses scheduled in all autonomous communities.
Digital Gap Project: Circular economy and digital knowledge transformation RandstadFoundation
The initiative seeks to empower people with disabilities through digital literacy. The aim is to equip it with the necessary technological skills to improve its employability and facilitate its access to the labour market, in a context of increasing digitalisation and automation of employment. The programme offers training ranging from basic digital literacy, to more advanced topics such as cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Thanks to the support of companies in our ecosystem that promote diversity and inclusion, beneficiaries receive refurbished computers and data cards with connectivity for six months.
