EIT Culture & Creativity, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, invites proposals to develop and deliver skills-based Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses addressing urgent skills gaps in the European audiovisual and media sector. The call supports short, practical, flexible training that helps professionals adapt to technological and market changes, with a focus on intellectual property, artificial intelligence and digital storytelling. Courses should promote innovation, responsible technology use and the practical application of new skills in professional contexts.

Activities

Applicants must propose a course under one of three thematic strands:

  • Strand A – Intellectual Property, Rights Management and Content Exploitation: Developing skills in licensing, rights management, contract negotiation, intellectual property valuation and the commercial exploitation of audiovisual content.

  • Strand B – Artificial Intelligence in Audiovisual Production and Workflows: Training in AI-enabled production and post-production, content verification, synthetic media, automation and compliance with European regulatory frameworks.

  • Strand C – Storytelling for Digital, Interactive and Cross-Media Environments: Developing narrative design for immersive and interactive media, transmedia storytelling, AI-assisted creation and audience engagement across digital platforms.

Courses must be practical, modular, primarily online and asynchronous, and delivered mainly in English. Proposals must define measurable learning outcomes and an appropriate assessment method, and contribute to at least two of the call’s stated objectives.
