CyberSecurity for Micro, Small, and Medium (SME) Companies pledge

We pledge to support to inform, educate and train micro, small and medium sized (SMEs) companies in CyberSecurity, empowering them to take control of their own cybersecurity management while strengthening and maturing their overall security posture

Our initiatives 

We pledge to deliver two cybersecurity capacity-building initiatives aimed at strengthening the resilience and regulatory readiness of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe.

  • Cybersecurity Maturity Improvement for Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Companies in Online Commerce and Retail
    This initiative addresses three key sectors (commerce, industry, and high-tech), three levels of cybersecurity maturity, and three micro SMEs. Its objective is to support European SMEs in assessing, managing, and progressively improving their cybersecurity posture.
  • CRA Compliance – Cybersecurity for Products with Digital Elements
    This initiative consists of eight distinct training sessions/courses, focusing on cybersecurity requirements and compliance aspects of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) for products with digital elements.

All trainings delivered under both initiatives will be free of charge for participants.

Participation will be based on open registration with no selective process.

Transforming teaching and learning of digital skills in a lifelong learning perspective, including the training of teachers.
Digital Skills for Labour Force
Developing digital skills for the digital economy, e.g. upskilling and deskilling workers, job seekes; actions on career advice and guidance.
Digital Skills for ICT Professionals

LSEC - Leaders In Security

LSEC represents hundreds of member companies and their respective cybersecurity solutions. We provide access to a preselected series of technologies through specific programs, while welcoming innovation and supporting the use of innovative technologies improving CyberSecurity and cybersecurity technologies.  

LSEC – Leaders In Security, an internationally renowned Digital Security Catalyst, a not for profit organization that has the objective to promote Information Security and the expertise in BeNeLux and Europe. Founded by the University of Leuven (KU Leuven), supported by the Flemish Government Agency for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the European Commission Horizon and Digital Europe programs, LSEC is leading a unique PAN European Private partnership that interacts with Public Institutions.

LSEC connects security industry experts, research institutes and universities, government agencies, end users, funding bodies and technical experts who are driving national and European research agendas. LSEC activities aim to raise cyber security awareness, support innovation and competitiveness of the European Digital Security market and promote the visibility of its members.
