They are organised in Internet governance forums at national, sub-regional, regional and youth levels. The main criterion for defining a region is geographical (the case of EuroDIG for Europe), although in certain cases factors such as shared language and culture are also considered (the case of the Lusophone IGF).The national reflection resulting from the discussion with all stakeholders culminates in a document entitled “Messages”, which feeds into the global debate at the annual IGF.Between 2010 and 2016, this initiative was organised at national level as the Forum for the Information Society – Internet Governance, and in 2017 it became the “Portuguese Initiative on Internet Governance” and in 2018 the “Portuguese Initiative of the Internet Governance Forum”.Event DetailsWebsite linkIniciativa Portuguesa do Fórum da Governação da Internet (IPFGI) 2026Target audienceDigital skills for allDigital technology / specialisationArtificial IntelligenceDigital skill levelBasicIntermediateGeographic scope - CountryPortugalShow lessIndustry - field of education and trainingGeneric programmes and qualifications not further definedTarget languageEnglishPortugueseGeographical sphereNational initiativeEvent organizerGovernment of PortugalEvent settingOn LocationLog in to comment
