Bucharest Cybersecurity Conference 2026: 20-22 October in Bucharest, organised by DNSC

The Bucharest Cybersecurity Conference 2026 (BCC2026) takes place between 20 and 22 October 2026, at the HALO Events Center in Bucharest. The event is organised by the National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) with Bitdefender as Presenting Partner.

What is BCC2026

It is the cyber security conference organized by the national authority in the field, which gives it a distinct profile from the other profile events in Romania: the agenda reflects regulatory and public policy priorities, not just technical or commercial ones.

Two open calls

In preparation for the edition, the organizers launched two calls:

• Call for volunteers — for those wishing to be part of the event team; Participants receive a volunteering certificate and a letter of recommendation.
• Community Track – call for presentations – for those who want to propose an intervention in the community section.

A safety statement

There are at least two areas in circulation that reproduce identically the title and visual identity of the conference, without belonging to the DNSC. In an event dedicated to cybersecurity, confusion has real consequences — from abusive collection of personal data to payments to third parties.

The only official domain is bcc.dnsc.ro. Any other address claiming to sell tickets or collect entries for BCC2026 should be treated as suspicious and reported through the pnrisc.dnsc.ro platform.

The context gives the event an additional stake this year: the series of incidents affecting Romanian public institutions in the summer of 2026 showed that the lack of skills and operational hygiene, not the lack of technology, is the determining factor. The DNSC annual report 2025 identifies the human factor as the main vulnerability in all ten sectors assessed.
