CoastHack 2026 International Technology and Digital Ideas Hackathon in Pärnu

CoastHack is a hackathon of technology and digital ideas with an international focus, taking place on 2-4 October 2026 at Pärnu College of the University of Tartu and in the premises of Pärnu County Business Incubator. The event brings together participants from Estonia, the Baltics and Finland to develop new ideas, create teams and find solutions to practical problems.

The hackathon is open to everyone from the age of 16. No previous development experience or ready-made business idea is required to participate. Developers, designers, marketers, students, entrepreneurs, experts in the field and all participants interested in digital solutions are welcome.

The program includes presentations of ideas, formation of teams, mentoring, networking and development of solutions. On the opening night, a conversation will take place with Display.dev co-founder and CTO Carl Rannaberg, led by Patchstack's founder and CEO Oliver Sild.

Participants have the opportunity to apply for a number of prizes, including the main prize of €1500, development programmes, mentoring, access to technology conferences, access rights to cooperation centres and technical start-up support.
