Report on the State of the Digital Decade
Published in September 2023, the State of the Digital Decade report evaluates the EU’s progress towards digital transformation as set out in the Digital Decade Policy Programme 2030. The report highlights the need to increase investment in digital technologies, skills, and infrastructures through policies, and also provides Member States with concrete recommendations ahead of the adoption of their national strategic roadmaps and for their future adjustments.
Aim of the session
Following its publication, European Commission (DG CONNECT) is organising a two-hour open workshop with the aim to inform the audience on the existence of the report, discuss the report’s findings, and gather expert feedback on how the concrete actions laid out in the report can be put into place in the future.
As Member States work on developing their strategic national roadmaps to achieve the digital decade objectives, this report will be a valuable contribution to outline specific actions, policies and measures.
