Cybersecurity in agriculture: balancing risks, costs & benefits

Cybersecurity is essential for the safe digitalisation of agriculture. It protects sensitive data, supports precision farming, and strengthens supply chains. While it requires investment in secure systems, training, and maintenance, the benefits include greater trust, efficiency, and reliability. Larger farms can often manage these costs, but smaller ones may need support through public policies and partnerships to fully benefit without increased risk.
On 10 April 2025 join the CODECS Knowledge Accelerator webinar to explore how cybersecurity is shaping the costs and benefits of digitalisation in agriculture. As the sector increasingly adopts digital tools and precision farming technologies, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and digital infrastructure has become essential.
