DefCamp 2026: 19–20 November at the Palace of Parliament, with technical workshops on 16–18 November

DefCamp 2026, one of the largest cybersecurity conferences in Central and Eastern Europe, takes place on 19 and 20 November 2026, at the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest. The technical workshop sessions are held separately from 16 to 18 November.

The event is organised by CCSIR — Cyber Security Research Center from Romania. The National Cyber Security Directorate is among the media partners of the edition.

About the event

The Attendee ticket covers access to the main stage of the conference, Hacking Village, the exhibition and networking area, meals during the event and the gift package from partners.

The VIP ticket adds access to the speakers’ lounge, attendance at the official dinner, priority badge and an invitation to the speakers’ trip. Category 1337 Supporter includes two such invitations, a merchandise package, website recognition and an advisory role.

Prices

Prices do not include VAT and payment processing fees. Early Bird tariffs expired on August 15, 2026.

Students receive a 35% discount and groups receive discounts on request — two aspects relevant for faculties wishing to send a delegation.

Why digital skills matter

Hacking Village is the component that distinguishes DefCamp from a classic conference: participants effectively work on practical attack and defence scenarios in a controlled environment. For students and early-career specialists, this type of applied exercise is difficult to replicate in regular academic training.

The organisers of DefCamp also coordinate the national competition UNbreakable Romania, recognised at European level as a best practice in cybersecurity skills training — which places the conference in a wider talent development ecosystem, not just in one of the events.
