The 10th episode of the Digital Skills Talks, an online series hosted by the Digital Skills and Jobs Platform, will focus on how digital tools like electronic health records, telemedicine, and AI diagnostics are transforming healthcare, and the skills needed for patients and healthcare workers to use them effectively.

About the 10th episode of the Digital Skills Talks

On 27 February at 9:00 (CET), the episode "From innovation to inclusion: advancing digital health literacy" will explore the vital intersection of technology and healthcare—and the skills required for patients and healthcare workers to make the most of these digital tools. The episode featured expert guests from diverse backgrounds in healthcare and policy development:

  • Diane Whitehouse, Principal eHealth Policy Consultant and Editor-in-Chief – EHTEL 

  • Katja Nacevski, Programme Manager – Skills Partnership Health Industry 

  • Juliette Verwer, Advisor at the Dutch Patient Federation

Digital tools are transforming healthcare by changing how patients, providers, and professionals interact with medical information. From electronic health records (EHRs) to AI-driven diagnostics and telemedicine, the shift towards a more digitally integrated health ecosystem has led to the rise of a critical topic: digital health literacy.
