Digital Skills Talks 12th episode "Cultivating the future: transforming agrifood through skills and innovation"
The 12th episode of Digital Skills Talks, an online series hosted by the Digital Skills and Jobs Platform, will explore how digital skills and innovation transform the agrifood sector. Experts from EIT Food and Fondazione Bruno Kessler will join the Platform team to discuss the role of education and technology in building sustainable food systems and upskilling the workforce.
About the 12th episode of the Digital Skills Talks
On 15 May 2025 at 9:30 (CEST), the episode "Cultivating the Future: Transforming Agrifood Through Skills and Innovation" will focus on digital transformation in the agrifood sector and the importance of digital skills for its workforce. The episode will feature:

Raffaele Giaffreda, Chief Innovation Scientist, Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK)
Join us as we explore how EIT Food is working to transform food systems into sustainable, health-focused, transparent, resilient, and equitable entities through education and digital skills. Together with experts, we will discuss key insights from EU-funded projects in the agrifood sector: agrifoodTEF, a network of test and validation infrastructures supporting Agri-Food technology companies to develop AI and Robotics solutions and Geek4Food - a project that leverages Artificial Intelligence and agile training programmes to upskill and reskill the food sector workforce.
