The Digital Skills and Jobs Platform is back with the 15th episode of the Digital Skills Talks, a series of short and interactive monthly conversations with top experts from across Europe. These talks aim to highlight emerging digital technologies and the essential skills needed to navigate them.

Meet the speakers
Federico Milani, Deputy Head of the Data Policy and Innovation Unit at DG CNECT, who has been closely involved in shaping EU data policies and advancing Europe’s vision for secure and trusted data sharing.
Gianfranco Cecconi, Executive Director of the EC Data Spaces Support Centre and Chief Solutions Officer at the International Data Spaces Association, bringing hands-on experience in developing data spaces frameworks and fostering cross-sector collaboration.

In a 30-minute live discussion, the speakers will explore how European Data Spaces tie into the EU’s broader digital strategy, why community-driven approaches are essential, and which skills are needed to support their successful deployment.
