Digital Talent EU Days 2026

On Location

Organised by Connecting Women in Digital and LEADSx2030 (in partnership with the European Commission, DFHERIS, DETE and local partners including National Coalitions and agencies), this event is expected to welcome 250–300 participants from industry, education and training, national authorities, civil society and research.

The two-day programme is organised around a shared agenda addressing Europe's digital talent challenges and opportunities, with discussions on advanced digital skills and gender inclusion across four thematic tracks:

  • Talent attraction
  • Talent development
  • Talent retention
  • Cross-cutting topics

Over the two days, participants will take part in keynote presentations, debates, panel discussions, workshops and networking sessions addressing:

  • Progress towards the Digital Decade
  • Publication of the Women in Digital Index 2026
  • Publication of the Advanced Digital Skills State of Play 2026
  • Strategic workforce planning in the era of Artificial Intelligence
  • Industry practice and cooperative talent ecosystems
  • Advanced digital skills, GenAI, cybersecurity roles, VET pathways, upskilling and reskilling
  • Building a responsive, competitive and inclusive European digital talent pipeline

Driven by expert insights and the latest data, the event advances strategic objectives under the Digital Decade Policy Programme and the Union of Skills. It also contributes to discussions linked to the AI Continent Action Plan by bringing together policymakers, employers, industry practitioners, universities, training providers and technology developers to share practices, exchange knowledge and identify solutions to Europe's digital talent challenges.
