FCCN Days 2026 - Portugal

The FCCN Days return in 2026 as one of the main national meetings dedicated to technology and innovation in higher education and research. The initiative takes place between 5 and 7 May, at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto.

About this event 

Organised by FCCN, the digital services unit of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), the event is the annual meeting point of the academic and scientific community, bringing together experts, researchers and technology professionals to discuss trends and share knowledge. The event is in Portuguese.

Over three days, the programme includes plenary sessions, workshops, project presentations and technology demonstrations, promoting dialogue in areas such as connectivity, computing, collaboration, knowledge and security.

The 2026 edition again highlights emerging topics such as Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity and open science, as well as providing moments of networking and collaboration between the various participants.

Recognised as a reference initiative in Portugal, the FCCN Conferences reinforce its role as a space for sharing, innovation and discussion about the digital future of the scientific and academic ecosystem.
