European Research & Innovation Days 2025

Save the date: 16–17 September 2025! The Square in Brussels will welcome the sixth edition of the European Commission’s flagship European Research & Innovation (R&I) Days. Policymakers, scientists, business leaders, and the wider innovation community will gather to explore how research and innovation fuel Europe’s competitiveness, sustainability, and industrial leadership—key pillars of the EU’s agenda.

This year’s theme, 'Together, towards a Research and Innovation Union', comes at a crucial time as the EU prepares for its next long-term budget and key policy initiatives, including the Start-up and Scale-up Strategy, the European Life Sciences Strategy, the AI in Science Strategy and the European Innovation and Research Area Acts.
