How is life for children in the digital age? (OECD webinar)

On 15 May, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) will host a hybrid webinar to launch its report How’s Life for Children in the Digital Age?, co-hosted by the French Delegation to the OECD. This event will provide a detailed overview of the report’s findings and will be simultaneously interpreted in English and French.
About the report
The report examines children’s experiences in the digital environment across OECD countries, drawing on cross-national data. It highlights both the opportunities and risks of digital media, including learning, entertainment, social connection, and access to information, alongside concerns like excessive use, exposure to inappropriate content, and online safety issues. In recognition of the International Day of Families, the OECD explores the challenge of balancing protection and empowerment, ensuring children are safe while also being equipped to use digital media in a way that supports their well-being.
