Launch of (d)Academy platform: EIT Digital’s latest play for closing the skills gap with revolutionary AI

On 28 January 2025 join the launch of the EIT Digital (d)Academy. This hybrid event will take place at EIT House in Brussels and bring together a diverse group of thought leaders, educators, and innovators. A portion of the event will also be live-streamed.

About EIT Digtial (d)Academy

The EIT Digital (d)Academy is a new initiative aimed at addressing the digital skills gap by leveraging AI-driven solutions. Following its soft launch in 2023, the (d)Academy has quickly become an important part of EIT Digital’s ecosystem. The platform draws on the expertise of over 300 partners from EIT Digital’s network of digital innovators, as well as the talents of more than 200 recent graduates from the EIT Digital Master School, offering a transformative approach to skills development.

The launch event will introduce the EIT Digital (d)Academy and its role in driving Europe’s digital transformation by fostering entrepreneurial education and digital expertise. It will highlight how the (d)Academy bridges education, research, and business, and strengthens Europe’s position in the global digital economy by promoting innovation and equipping individuals with relevant skills. Attendees can expect discussions on key topics such as job-hunting, upskilling, and reskilling in Europe, as well as insights into the (d)Academy Platform and AI tools aimed at addressing the digital skills gap. EU leaders will share perspectives on aligning education with labor market needs and navigating digital and green transitions. The event will also offer a live AI-powered demo and opportunities for networking with peers and thought leaders.
