Learning bites on green and digital skills for the built environment

ARISE, a European funded project that supports upskilling for design and construction professionals on energy efficient buildings and Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes, is organizing a hybrid event on March 8th, 2023. This event will offer opportunities for continuous education in green and digital skills, to align with the European Year of Skills. It will take place in Brussels, Belgium, at the Auditoire V. Bourgeois – Flagey, from 14:30 to 16:00 (CET). The Architects Council of Europe (ACE) president, Ruth Schagemann, is expected to moderate the event.
The architecture and construction industry is continuously evolving, with new technologies and construction techniques requiring professionals to stay up-to-date with the latest skills and knowledge. To address this, ARISE, with Belfast Met as the project leader, aims to support the upskilling of the design and construction professionals on the topics of energy efficient buildings and Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes. The growth of cloud storage, digital design tools such as BIM, and virtual reality are transforming the way architects and builders work, while the internet of things, building automation, and artificial intelligence are changing the way we live and work. This event will present opportunities for professionals to continue their education and upskill in the latest green and digital skills, in order to meet the demands of the evolving industry.
