In summer 2026, NerdCamp will host 5-day camps in Odense, Denmark, filled with exciting and educational activities, teaching, and workshops that promote community and learning and inspire the next generation of inventors through fun and hands-on learning. Participants become not only consumers of technology, but innovative creators when they make and program their own products.
- The camp is for all young people between the ages of 10-16 who are interested in digital technologies.
- Activities and workshops range from laser games, online internet hacking, playing with new technology, soldering, creating your own personalized stickers, or designing your very own print on a t-shirt.
- The camp offers training in robot design, game development, 3D printing and laser cutting. In addition, participants can try different coding languages, ranging from C# and C++ to beginner-friendly block programming and Python.
Whether you have never tried coding before or have experience with it, you can learn something here, the teaching is differentiated so that activities and tasks are adapted to your level of experience.
Attending NerdCamp gives children a unique opportunity to develop key technological skills while having fun and meeting new like-minded friends. It is an investment in their future and a chance to discover and explore their interests in technology.
Who's behind it?
NerdCamp is organized by a group of experienced educators and tech enthusiasts who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and passion with the next generation. The camp ensures that there is always one adult per five participants, creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
