Trust Services and eID Forum - CA Day 2026

Event location
Kultuurikatel - Tallinn Creative Hub, Kursi tn 3, 10415 Tallinn, Estonia

For whom?

The Forum, organised in collaboration with the European Commission since 2015, has become "the place to be" for stakeholders of the broad area of the eIDAS Regulation. It gathers policy makers, trust services providers, conformity assessment bodies, supervisors, European and Member States institutions and interested end users, offering a unique place for discussions related to digital identities in Europe. This year the event will move to Tallinn, Estonia, assuring also the online broadcast of the event for virtual participation.

Content

On the agenda:

  • Status of implementation of the European Digital Identity Wallets in the EU Member States;
  • European Business Wallet - a new tool designed to simplify and secure business interactions across the EU;
  • Interaction of the EU Digital Identity Framework with the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), a gamechanger in the European cybersecurity, affecting all citizens;
  • State of play in the area of Trust Services - success stories and challenges;
  • Evolvements in the standardisation ecosystem related to the EU Digital Identity Framework;
  • Potential effects of Post Quantum Cryptography on the digital identity area.

As in previous years (since 2018), the Trust Services and eID Forum will be followed by the CA-Day, organized by D-Trust and TÜV Nord Cert, taking place on 16 September at the same venue.
