Urban Mobility IT.nerary

Mobile World Capital Barcelona is leading an initiative called Urban Mobility Digital Talent, co-funded by the EIT Urban Mobility, with the participation of CARNET, CTAG, and the University of Lisbon. Its objective is to attract digital talent to the mobility sector, by showing its employability potential.

In this context, they are organising a 4-day event “Urban Mobility IT.nerary” that will take place from 8 to 11 November in Barcelona and online.

The event is aimed at students and professionals interested in new tech trends in the urban mobility sector and who want to have 1-on-1 meetings with companies in this booming industry, based on their skills and interests.

The course is the starting point to discover which profile suits better your skills and interests and encourages you to enter the mobility sector. Through the proposed learning modules, you will learn about the latest trends in technologies and employability in the sector, and you will have the possibility to meet some of the main players in the industry.

Get your certificate: if you attend all course sessions you can get your certificate signed by the EIT, Instituto Superior Técnico Lisboa and Mobile World Capital Barcelona.

Programme

Day 1: Digital Talent for the Future of Mobility

You will be introduced to the urban mobility sector by identifying trends and challenges in the sector, they will discuss the main players in the sector and what opportunities are opening up for future mobility

Day 2: Building a digital urban mobility

You will discover what smart mobility is, what solutions it offers, what technology is behind it and what new business models it presents

Day 3: Towards the mobility of the future

You will look at the last mile, the autonomous car and the infrastructure needed for this urban mobility

Day 4: Networking Day

It’s time for you to meet companies in the sector and find you new career path
