Workshop: The State of the Digital Decade 2024

Following the inaugural release of the State of the Digital Decade 2023, the European Commission is convening a four-hour workshop on Tuesday, 19 December 2023. The objective is to gather insights and input to inform the upcoming State of the Digital Decade 2024.

The workshop will encompass four key segments:

• Technological Leadership and Competitiveness: Delving into strategies for maintaining technological leadership and bolstering competitiveness.
• People-Centric Approach: Highlighting the importance of supporting individuals through their digital transformation journey.
• Green and Digital Transition: Focusing on the intersection of environmental sustainability and digital transition.
• Implementation and Coherence in Digital Policies: Discussing the effective implementation and coherence of digital policies.

This workshop is a crucial platform for stakeholders to contribute valuable perspectives, shaping the trajectory of the digital landscape in the European Union for the upcoming year.
