EDIH for new successful stories of digital transformation of Slovenian companies Created byAna Pejić|Updated18 February 2026Slovenia has two European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) that support SMEs on their way to digital transformation – EDIH DIGI-SI and SRC-EDIH. Both interfaces are part of the European network of EDIHs and enable companies to access knowledge, expert support, test technologies and integrate into national and European innovation ecosystems.About the hubsTheir work is also based on strengthening digital skills, knowledge and competences, which are crucial for the competitiveness of the economy. To date, they have jointly delivered more than 1250 services to businesses, organised numerous digital education courses with more than 1600 participants, supported the development of prototypes, conceptual assessments and encouraged millions of investments in digital projects. They also put particular emphasis on assessing the digital maturity of businesses – the companies involved managed to achieve a 14% increase in digital maturity.The final conference of the Slovenian EDIHs presented the key results of the previous work and plans for the future project period. Both interfaces will continue to upgrade services in a coordinated manner and provide support to businesses in developing digital competences, deploying advanced technologies (including artificial intelligence) and connecting to wider innovation networks.An important part of the event was also dedicated to the finalists of the Digital Innovation 2025 selection, who present examples of knowledge in practice. Among the five solutions presented, the LynxCraft team, which developed an AI-enabled platform for a faster and more cost-effective construction process, was the winner. Projects in the fields of transport automation, legal and business documents, medical documentation and digitalisation of production and IoT processes also presented their innovative solutions.The conference reaffirmed that EDIH DIGI-SI and SRC-EDIH are key partners of Slovenian companies in the development of digital skills, testing new technologies and creating new stories of successful digital transformation.
