Latvia is actively preparing for the annual campaign Digital Week 2025 and this year it will be held for the 16th time! On February 28, more than 50 Digital Week partners came together to share ideas and practical information about the planned activities from March 24 to 28. 

The Digital Week in Latvia is organized in the frame of ALL Digital Weeks 2025. The main partners of Digital Week together with the Latvian Information and Communication Technology Association (LIKTA) are the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Smart Administration and Regional Development, the Culture Information Systems Centre, and the Latvia State Radio and Television Centre. All together more than 78 partners have already been involved in the organization of activities. The digital map is available here.

The seminar was attended by representatives from ministries and state institutions, municipalities, libraries, ICT industry companies and non-governmental organizations. In various online and face-to-face events, every citizen - entrepreneurs, employees of state and local government institutions, representatives of the education field, students, children, parents, seniors, etc. are invited to improve digital skills, and to use digital technologies and services more actively.

This year’s Digital Week will host the following thematic days:

  • March 24 – Opening of Digital Week 2025 “Focus: Skills in the Digital Decade”
  • March 25 – Digital Skills and Artificial Intelligence
  • March 26 – Digital Skills in Education
  • March 27 – Cybersecurity Day
  • March 28 – ICT for my future career
