Robotics Championship RoboRAVE 2025: Greece Returns from Beijing with Five Medals

The Greek delegation has returned to Athens from the International Robotics Championship "RoboRAVE 2025", which was hosted in Beijing on August 25 and 26, 2025, with significant distinctions and five medals.
The Greek presence was represented by twenty-five teams with seventy-five students from Larissa, Volos, Karditsa, Drama, and Pella. These teams were selected last April through the first "RoboRAVE Greece" national competition, which took place in Larissa, forming the core of the national team. The delegation was the second largest after the Chinese one, and it managed to stand out for its performance and ingenuity.

RoboRAVE International is an international event that brings together students and educators from all over the world, promoting innovation, collaboration and STEM values. More than 700 contestants from various countries participated in the World Final in Beijing, competing in different fields.
The Greek students, divided into three age categories, competed in four fields:
SumoBot, where robots compete in a wrestling ring;
Line Follow – Sprint, which combines precision and speed;
a-MAZE-ing, which highlights a robot's ability to navigate a labyrinth;
Entrepreneurship, which promotes technology and innovation with a social character.
Through these participations, the Greek teams demonstrated their high-level technological training, collaborative spirit, and creativity.
