The AI Office has launched a new survey to gather practices for the AI literacy living repository. With the entry into application of article 4 of the AI Act, the AI Office started a living repository of AI literacy practices. The repository was presented at the AI Pact webinar on AI literacy that took place in February and currently contains more than 20 practices gathered from AI Pact organisations. To ensure a wider representation of AI literacy initiatives, the AI Office has now launched a new survey open to all organisations that would like to share their experience on AI literacy, especially in the context of article 4 of the AI Act.

On a regular basis, the AI Office will verify that all contributions received meet the minimum criteria of transparency and reliability before accepting them into the public repository, whose aim is to encourage learning and exchange among providers and deployers of AI systems*. During the verification period, the survey might be closed. The living repository is part of a broader effort of the EU AI Office to support the implementation of Article 4 of the AI Act and, more generally, the promotion of AI literacy and skills for AI. For this purpose, a dedicated website will soon be developed.
*Replicating the practices collected in the living repository does not automatically grant presumption of compliance with Article 4 of the AI Act. By publishing the practices, the Commission does not imply either endorsement or evaluation in any way.
