Advanced Blockchain Skills (TRUST-FOOD)

The "Advanced Blockchain Skills" course, developed by the TRUST-FOOD project, will help you explore the full potential of blockchain technology and solidify your knowledge in blockchain technologies and adoption. The course is ideal for university students, graduates from various disciplines, business owners, and employees working in the food supply and agri-food sectors. 

The TRUST-FOOD project, funded under the DIGITAL Europe Programme of the European Union, specialises in building flexible, short-term courses and more advanced opportunities for SMEs in the food supply chain and agri-food sectors. 

Why this course?  

Advanced Blockchain Skills helps students, who already have some knowledge on the topic, to develop a more comprehensive understanding of blockchain technology, together with its fundamental concepts. The course covers a variety of topics, such as crypto wallets, smart contracts, or multi-signature transactions. 

Learning outcomes

By the end of this course, learners will possess a good understanding of topics such as: 

• Blockchain security - the ability to work with hashing functions and nonces, the cornerstones underpinning blockchain security.
• Blockchain Exploration - Master the use of block explorers to navigate real-world blockchains.
• Understanding Transactions - get to learn about the foundational model UTXO, used to track cryptocurrency ownership.
• Secure Blockchain Interaction - start to see the connection between seed phrases, private keys, and addresses, and employ them for confident blockchain participation.

The course collates 22 lectures and 6 quizzes. It takes 4 hours of study time to complete and it is conducted entirely in English.
