CUAS Bachelor Degree Programme "Systems Engineering - Green Electronics" (GreenChips-EDU) Created byUlla Birnbacher|UpdatedagoStart Date01.October.2026End date30.Jun.2029PresentialIn the bachelor’s degree programme in Systems Engineering (SE) with a focus on Green Electronics, you’ll learn how to design electronic systems that are energy-efficient and resource-conserving. You’ll take the entire life cycle into account–from planning to targeted optimization.About the programmeThis programme focuses on the fundamentals and applications of electronics, covering sensors, electronic circuits, embedded systems, digital circuit design, signal processing, measurement systems, and semiconductor physics. Through elective modules, students can tailor their studies to their interests, exploring areas such as sustainable electronics and modern embedded systems. It prepares graduates for careers in technology, energy, research, and startups, with a strong focus on combining electronics with innovation, energy efficiency, and sustainability. The programme also combines modern electronics with digital applications, helping students develop an understanding of how individual components interact to create functional technical solutions. This provides a strong foundation for a future-oriented career in a field where technological progress and the responsible use of resources go hand in hand. What does the programme offer?Project-Based and Interdisciplinary Learning- In modern labs, you'll apply theoretical concepts to specific tasks. In hands-on projects, you'll conduct your own experiments and put your own ideas into practice. Two Areas of Study—Your Technical Focus- In the Bachelor's program in Systems Engineering, you can choose between the two tracks: Green Electronics and Green Mechatronics. You'll combine creative ideas with solid technical knowledge and tailor your studies to your specific academic interests.Work Experience in the 6th Semester- In the sixth semester, you’ll complete a mandatory professional internship. During this internship, you’ll apply the knowledge you’ve acquired in a professional setting, gain practical experience, and prepare specifically for your future career. Through partnerships with companies, you’ll also establish early contacts with the industry and build a professional network.Gain international experience- A semester abroad at one of over 100 partner universities will open up new academic and personal perspectives for you. You’ll expand your intercultural skills and apply your knowledge in an international academic environment.Further detailsLanguage of Instruction: German (min B2)More information on the application process, admission requirements and necessary documents can be found here.Training Offer DetailsWebsite linkBachelor in Green ElectronicsDigital technology / specialisationSoftwareMicroelectronicsDigital skillsTraining opportunitiesEducational programmeLearning EffortFull timeSelf-pacedNoDigital skill levelBasicProvider OrganisationGreenChips-EDUGeographic scope - CountryAustriaShow lessTarget languageEnglishGermanField of education and trainingElectronics and automationIs this course freeNoCourse Amount2180.16€Credential offeredDiploma SupplementPrerequisitesNoUpcoming courseNo Timeline Open Date01 October 2026 02:00Deadline Date30 June 2029 02:000 LikesLog in to comment
